To the Disciples of Jesus,
We, as Christians, are not to judge those outside the church, but it's the responsibility of all those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God and the Savoir of the world, to judge one another in the household of God, to monitor one another in love. (1 Corinthians 5:12) "For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?" (1 Corinthians 5:13) "But them that are without, God judgeth."
So why do we judge those in the church? So that we will "test the spirits to see if they are from God." (I John 4:1) "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." (Matthew 7:15) "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."
How can we be the "light and salt of the world", if there are churches claiming to be Christian, spreading false teachings, claiming to be of our Lord, Christ Jesus? (Acts 13:47) "For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth." (Matthew 5:13) "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."
The priesthood of Aaron and his descendants, both sons and daughters, have a "covenant of salt" with the Lord God, (Numbers 18:19-20). Salt was always used by the priesthood during sacrifices, and we, as Christians, are to offer up of ourselves as living sacrifices: (Romans 12:1) "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." (Mark 9:49)"For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt."
It is time for the followers of our Lord Jesus to come out from all false churches and start to read the Holy Scriptures with our own eyes. (2Corinthians 6:17-18) "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." That is the only way you can know the truth. For too long the followers of Jesus have allowed others to do our work. In doing so, they have perverted the Gospel for the love of money and for the admiration of others.
Studying the scriptures and following Jesus commandments, is our calling. We are to teach (spread) the Gospel to the whole world. How are we to teach if we don't know the Holy Scriptures? (Hebrews 5:12) "For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat." We are to study and meditate on, the Holy Scriptures. (Joshua 1:8) "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."
But be prepared for family and "friends" to discourage you, even calling you a fanatic or zealot. Rejoice and thank our Lord, because the definition of a fanatic is - one who is marked by excessive enthusiasm for and intense devotion to a cause or idea. Do not be afraid to do what is right. (Joshua 1:9) "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." (Luke 12:32) "Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom."
Followers of Jesus and those who preach the true Gospel will not be liked, but will be hated by the world and the false teachers in the religious communities. (1 John 3:13) "Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you." (John 15:18) "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.", and of the worlds religious communities, (Luke 6:26) "Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets."
Please, don't continue to let your love for Jesus to be lukewarm. (Revelation 3:16:19) "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent."
Remember our Lord Jesus words: (Matthew 22:14) "For many are called, but few are chosen."
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
Dear Holy Father, Thank you for calling me to repentance. I repent of my sins and accept the precious blood of your Son Jesus, as payment. I have been immersed and baptized, in the Holy name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of my sins, born anew, to follow and serve my loving Lord, Christ Jesus the Son of God. May your Holy Spirit, the gift of my Lord, guide me in spreading this Good News of my Lord Jesus. I thank you, dear Holy Father for this gift that you offer to me and to all. Amen
